My heart explodes with so many emotions. Today is very special because you blessed my life with so much of love and joy. The love that is pure and genuine. It's been an amazing year watching you grow.
You learnt a lot of things this year.
You have learnt to laugh and giggle. You have started walking on your own. You have started making conversations with your sister over video call. You have learnt to team up with daddy and laugh at me. Sometimes when I am sad, you give me some real hugs and makes me feel out of the world. You have learnt to wave and say "hi" and "Assalamualaikum"
You even recite duas that I recite. You watch and study what we are doing and try to do the same on your own. You smartly ignore my requests at times. When I talk to someone about you over phone, you smile with pride as if you understand everything. Your happy place is the balcony where you play in the evenings. Time flies quickly. Being with you and watching you grow is my favourite thing to do. Iove you oodles and oodles.
